Dermal Fillers

Enhance your own natural beauty and skin by minimizing the appearance of wrinkles, fine lines and restore depleted volume to hollow facial contours.

What's the difference between Botox and Fillers?

Botox is a great choice for hitting those "crease points" where muscles contract like the forehead wrinles and frown lines. It can also be used for excessive sweating, tmj, and migraines. Fillers, on the other hand, are best for deep lines that are present even when facial muscles are not contracting. They fill in and add volume, soften wrinkles and add definition to areas being injected like the lips and marionette lines.

How often do I have to maintain fillers?

In general, fillers are done every 6-12 months, depending on the product used and the area being treated. Each cosmetic injectable treatment plan is customized in accordance with your specific lifestyle and needs.

Is it a painful?

Topical numbing cream is applied to ensure comfort. Also, many products are packaged with numbing solution mixed into them.

Dermal fillers (also called soft tissue fillers) are a non-surgical injectable treatment used to restore facial volume, soften wrinkles and fine lies, and add definition or volume to areas being injected such as the lips and marionette lines for a more youthful appearance.

There are currently many dermal filler products available on the market, the most popular of which are based on Hyaluronic Acid (HA), a naturally occurring substance in the human body, lubricating soft connective tissues, the skin, eyes, and joints. One of its functions is to keep the skin smooth and healthy by helping it retain water. As we age, our skin starts to produce less Hyaluronic Acid, leading to it becoming dry and thin. Natural lines and wrinkles deepen; lips lose their fullness; lines appearing around the mouth and nose area, and cheeks lose volume giving them a sunken and hollow appearance. Adding a moisturizer to your skincare routine with Hyaluronic Acid may provide a short-term effect; however, Hyaluronic Acid facial fillers truly get moisture deep under the skin. When HA gel is injected, it acts to support facial structures and tissue that may have lost volume or elasticity due to normal aging. It also draws water to the skin surface to keep it looking soft and youthful.

The cost of Hyaluronic Acid Dermal Fillers is based on the type of filler you receive as well as how many syringes we need to address the treatment area. Prices range from $400 to $750 + HST.
